Biography

Associate Professor
Construction Engineering

Civil Engineering, MEng, International PhD (award for outstanding Doctorate in the field of Civil Engineering and Architecture, 2012/2013), and MEng in Health and Safety.

Over 70 international publications (all in peer-reviewed International Journals from the ISI-JCR database), and provides continued participation in projects and contracts acting as the lead researcher. He has directed 4 theses and  has been reviewer of several international journals from the ISI-JCR database. He is an active member of several RILEM (International Union of Laboratories and Experts in Construction Materials, Systems and Structures) committees, and representative of EAPA (European Asphalt Pavement Association) in the technical committee of the Eurasphalt&Eurobitume congress.

Associate Professor at the University of Granada, at the Department of Civil Engineering Construction and Engineering Projects. Currently, he belongs to the research group TEP-00 LabIC.UGR. He teaches Materials Science and Technologies, as well as Construction Procedures in different Degrees and Masters.

Currently, Dr. Moreno-Navarro works for many companies and administrations in consultancy, development of materials and construction technologies, etc. Inventor of several patents and awarded by different organisms and associations from the road and railway engineering sector.
