Throughout the past years, Madrid has arisen as one of the leading cities as far as mobility is concerned, both on national and international level. Very few cities have been able to offer the services Madrid does regarding individual mobility and car sharing, nor do they achieve the quality level of its infrastructures and public transports. At the same time, as an innovative city, concerned about its citizens’ well-being, it is well aware of the needs implied by new development on and paradigms about urban mobility.

The very first edition of this mega-event will have a completely digital format, fully compatible with the current #StayHome situation. It is organized by itafec after development of a recording system which enables generation of digital files, in HD quality, that will be used for HD streaming broadcast, without the need for any displacement whatsoever. This particular system of invitation, managment, recording, editing and broadcast will, given the circumstances, allow for full digital management and development of the event.

Moreover, thanks to VR73D technology, itafec also enables the possibility to participate in a virtual 3D mode by means of our own customised avatar and access conferences, ask the speakers questions, chat with other avatars, move to a hall with virtual booths, attend the e-poster area, discuss and interact in a way very close to reality. This is the latest existing technology for technical events. Innovation is part of the organization of any outstanding event, adoption of the latest technologies is a guarantee of success and, in 2020, innovation of events is synonym of 3D virtual reality (VR/3D). Simulated reality or virtual reality is a computer engineering technique able, as its name already suggests, to offer a simulation of reality. This technology converts virtual events in replicas of in-person events, which means that a virtual congress reproduces specific spaces and features of presential exhibition and trade fairs. Just like in traditional fairs, in the virtual world of #MadridMS2021 both visitors and exhibitors can have personal conversations with the difference that there is no need for any displacement whatsoever, so that attendance and participation are possible from the comfort and safety of homes or offices, thanks to VR/3D virtual reality. This completely new way of attending events facilitates interaction between executives, academics, public administrations and all other participants at a virtual meeting point. Thanks to virtual reality, the attendants will be able to communicate by voice or text chat with other attendants and, besides attending conferences, visit virtual booths.

The cost of this second enrollment option “VR/3D Access” is of 10€ and offers the possibility to interact, with our own avatar, with other virtual participants of the event, access the Expo Hall and visit each and every virtual booth, etc. A really fascinating experience very close to reality which we highly recommend.
