Description:

The Fundación Pons (Madrid) will host next 4 April an event promoted by ASEFMA under the umbrella of the International Road Maintenance Day (IRMD). Under the heading "maintaining roads is protecting the environment", politicians, scholars and representatives of entities related to the road sector will debate on the influence of pavement conditions on CO2 emissions.
 
The event will be opened by Juan José Potti, president of ASEFMA, who will present the 2018 progress report and describe ongoing initiatives all around the world linked to the International Road Maintenance Day, followed by two round table conferences where the impact of road maintenance on the environment will be discussed.
 
Live transmission of the event will begin at 09:00 (Madrid time zone); at 13:00 deferred broadcast will start.
