Translation of the Industry 4.0 concept to the road sector represents an important challenge for public administrations and companies since it will mean a drastic change in the way of working, in the search for greater efficiency.
Since this challenge can not be addressed individually, the day aims to create a meeting point that means the start of initiatives that lead to greater use of digital processes in the management of road infrastructure.
The Digital Road Conference aims to be a meeting point where specialists in digitalization contribute their experience to design a roadmap that allows the widespread implementation of technologies such as BIM (Building Information Modeling), mobile mapping or e-construction.
