Biography
- 1985: admission as a civil servant to the Spanish civil engineer corps
- Chief Engineer of Unidad de Carreteras de Cáceres since 1993 and of Demarcación de Carreteras en Extremadura until February 2019
- From 2000 until 2012, President of the Spanish national technical committee on road materials before joining the World Committee A.1 “Performance of Transport Administrations”, PIARC
- Current Dean at the College of Roads, Canals and Ports, Extremadura
- In 2010 the Spanish road association awarded him with the Medal of Honor with distinction and later on the Guardia Civil awarded him with the Medal for Services.
During more than three decades he has carried out all kinds of construction and conservation projects and work, including important cold and hot on site and off site reclycling projects.
