The XII National Asefma's Meeting develops environment to the influence that exercises the condition of conservation of the roads in the emission of the vehicles that circulate along these roads. Very specially in the CO2 emissions.
In June, 2016, in Paris, the representatives closely of 200 countries assembled in the Summit of the Climate, ratified the first global agreement to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases. This agreement of Paris named COP21. From this moment they have been established, inside UE28, one series of concrete aims in every country to fulfill a global aim of reduction of 30 % of the CO2 emissions of the EU, before the year 2030, with regard to the levels of 2005. For the year 2050 there is established a reduction of 50 %.
On November 18, 2016, the qualified document was presented in the European Parliament " Road pavement industries highlight huge CO2 savings offered by maintaining and upgrading roads ". This document has been elaborated by EAPA, EUPAVE and FEHRL. The document reveals, in a concrete way, the influence of the condition of conservation of the roads in the consumption of fuel of the vehicles and therefore, in the CO2 emissions.
Beyond the evident thing, to support the pavement in correct conditions sympathetic on the traffic of our vehicle, it reduces the risk of having an accident, diminishes the consumption of fuel, prolongs the life of the vehicle, etc … but also there are other many factors, already confirmed, that also concern the activity and the quality of life of all citizens.
In this Day XII National Asefma's there will be approached the impact of the condition of conservation of all the roads (routes of low intensity, road of the town halls and highways or highways of intense traffic) in the consumption of fuel, in the noise generated between tire / pneumatic, in the emission of greenhouse gases, etc … to reveal that the conservation of the roads is not only one of the props of the social well-being, it is also an environmental need.
