Next 2 April an event, promoted by ASEFMA, will be celebrated under the auspices of the International Road Maintenance Day (IRMD).
Under the motto “maintaining roads is maintaining the environment”, see http://roadmaintenanceday.org 9 key speakers from several entities involved in the international road industry will debate the influence of pavement conditions on CO2 emissions, the need to incorporate innovation into road conservation goals and the social relevance of road infrastructures.

The IRMD will be opened by Juan José Potti, President of ASEFMA, who will offer a review of actions carried out all over the world related to the International Road Maintenance Day. Besides, he will expose initiatives for development of the Research Project EMIPAV. Immediately after his introduction, eight speakers from both national and international highly relevant institutions, including EAPA, PIARC, ATC, ZAS, INEA and UAX, will offer interventions.

The event will be presented in two working languages, both Spanish and English, and broadcast will start at 8 a.m. (time zone Europe/Madrid: UTC+1). The afternoon session will start at 4 p.m. (UTC+1).
