The Technical Meetings of Tests of Characterization of the Bituminous mixes, organized by Asefma, are the principal shop window of the scientific works realized in Spain in the field of the experimentation with asphalt mixtures.
In this fourth edition, besides the habitual sections dedicated to the diverse tipologías of tests, a specific session has been included on the work that is developing in ALEAS for the design of bituminous mixes.
In the last years, with the application of the procedure UNE EN, new tests or variants of the existing ones have are started. Nevertheless, there does not exist an updated methodology that helps to the technical personnel involved in the design and quality control of the asphalt mixtures in the optimization of the properties of the same ones.
